Highlights of Isabella鈥檚 Story
Isabella “Izzy” Knight is an Applied Physiology and Kinesiology student at PBA with a concentration in Physical Therapy. Her academic path was deeply shaped by a life-changing injury when she broke her back and came dangerously close to paralysis. During her recovery, she experienced exceptional care from physical and occupational therapists who inspired her to pursue a similar calling.
That experience awakened in her a desire not only to help others physically, but to integrate her faith into her profession. Izzy鈥檚 is to serve as a full-time missionary while incorporating physical therapy or another healthcare role on the mission field.
At 麻豆传媒, she has found a Christ-centered environment that reinforces her identity and calling. Through chapel, Christival, and the daily encouragement of professors and peers, Izzy has grown in her understanding that her identity is first rooted in Christ. From that foundation, she feels equipped to pursue her vocation boldly.
She describes PBA as a place where students are known personally and spiritually supported鈥攏ot just seen as a number. Izzy expresses gratitude to donors who make these opportunities possible, recognizing that their generosity helps students discover joy, purpose, and confidence in Christ.
